RACHEL WARD
Recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University, Rachel prides herself on creating innovative designs that address contemporary problems. Through embroidery, Rachel is able to push three dimensional design, creating tactile work suitable for installation or high fashion.
This is coupled with a strong love of computer aided design and photography, making for a imaginative, bold designs. Digital design is essential in ensuring her work is ever evolving and relevant to todays current design climate.
Centering a lot of her work around problem solving has led Rachel towards a strong interest in Smart Textiles. By working in a cross disciplinary style Rachel is able to develop ambitious projects, working successfully with a variety of people.
Rachel's is keen to work with innovative brands and individuals who strive to push the boundaries of design, developing work with a purpose.
